The science kits were developed by volunteer engineering and design graduates in YGA, a non-profit Turkish organization set on developing future young leaders. The kits are prepared for primary-secondary schools and high schools.
Hüsnü M. Özyeğin Foundation purchased Twin Science Kits and organized the training for the instructors, in cooperation with YGA, in the schools which were constructed and donated to the Ministry of National Education by the Foundation.
150 science kits for primary and secondary schools, 60 science kits for high schools donated to 22 schools and both students and teachers attended and enjoyed the training program together.
A project called “Smart House” which was created by two girls studying at Hüsnü M. Özyeğin Secondary School in Ağrı-Doğubayazıt, was selected amongst 120 applications for participating the science exhibition and two girls with one teacher came to Istanbul for the exhibition.
